Chelsea’s Eniola Aluko is among the six contenders for the Professional Footballer’s Association (PFA) Women’s Player of the Year award with teammate Ji So-yun making the list.

The England forward has been in terrific form for Chelsea this season thanks to her brilliant scoring form.

The pair are joined by current holder and Manchester City’s Lucy Bronze, Birmingham City’s Karen Carney, Notts County’s Jess
Clarke, and Arsenal forward Kelly Smith.

Freda Ayisi, Hannah Blundell, Aoife Mannion, Nikita Parris, Amy Turner and Leah Williamson are nominated for the Young Player of the Year prize.

The winners will be announced on April 26.
