MFM FC v Sunshine Stars

Sunshine Stars are yet to win a game, lost one (1-0) away to Lobi Stars and drew (1-1) at home to Akwa United and kept no clean sheet yet this season.

Eyimba FC v Ikorodun United

Please let me cough, koff-koff, ok, i just had to do that as the Peoples Elephant looks to give some orientation proper to the newly promoted Lagos side who are travelling for the first time since promotion.
Eyimba will go into the game with a winning mentality after their 2-0(2-1*aggregate) win ovet Vipers SC of Uganda in the CAF Champions League Qualifiers, and also are hosting the game in PortHarcourt as their stadium is under reconstruction.
Ikorodu United are not ‘elephants’ so on paper and in ordinary estimation, it could not be the case of two elephants fighting. Well lets see.

Eyimba is yet to win a Npfl game they lost to Rivers United all this season.
Mfon Udoh is the only player that have scored (2) and the highest for Eyimb this season.

Giwa FC v Rivers United

The Jos based team are on another run this season having brought in a new manager in name of Gbenga Ogunbote who did big things with 3SC last season as they face an amalgamated Rivers United in Jos with the aim of savaging a first win this season.
Rivers United on the other hand is more like an old wine in a new bottle, starting off the season with a win in PortHarcourt over defending champions Eyimba.

Giwa have lost Four of their last Five games in the Npfl and their last win was against 3SC of Ibadan last season.

Rivers United have won only Two of their opening Three encounters loosing one to MFM FC this season with a total number of Three goals.

Ifeayin Ubah v Shooting Stars

Oil money, rich money team have had a laudable preparation prior to the kick-off of the season on a tour in Brazil and it most project in their campaign though they won the opening day fixture 0-1 away to Giwa FC and lost 2-0 away to Rivers United. They face the Oluyole Warriors who are fresh from a 3-0 victory over MFM FC and blazing hot as we speak.
3SC has erased the heart-break from their loss to Nassarawa United and ofcourse will want to make a statement in this season campaign.

Lobi Stars v El-Kanemi Warriors

Lobi have another season in their hand to prove, they ofcourse have been good since the season’s inception with two back to back wins over 3SC away and at home to Sunshine Stars but the third west opponents newly promoted Ikorodun United ended their unbeaten run with a 1-0 loss at the epic Onnikan Stadium in Lagos.
El-Kanemi on the other hand has managed only a 1-1 draw away against Abia Warriors as their best feat in Four games and yet to record a victory this season.

Akwa United v Heartland

First of all, no continental football any more for the Akwa Ibom based side, having crashed on penalties at home against V. Club Mokanda enroute Caf Confederations Cup next round. They face a well organised East based side Heartland who are poised on victory.

All the way from Owerri to Akwa Ibom will Heartland travel, Heartland are yet to win a game this season and lost their last game to Abia warriors having Two draws one loss in last Three games.

Abia Warriors v Kano Pillars

Abia Warriors certainly are not superb yet this season but stats states they have not lost any game yet this season and only managed a win yet, till the end of the game agains the Sai Masi Gidas.
Kano Pillars made the screens a delight has the massive turn-out of crowd lit up the game against Enugu Rangers which ended 2-1 in their favour and will travel to Abia to fight for a point if not points. In the last Five games, Pillars have only ensured a loss but Three wins and a draw.
