Edimar of Cordoba pleads that Cristiano should not be  banned  for three games,  The defender has forgiven the Portuguese for kicking at him during Real Madrid’s 2-1 victory on Saturday and hopes he faces no extra sanction.

Cordoba defender Edimar has called on the Spanish football association (LFP) not to hand Real Madrid ‘s Cristiano Ronaldo any further
sanctions following  his red card.

The referee’s report did not describe the incident as “violent conduct”, meaning Ronaldo will likely receive just a one-game ban, and Edimar has urged the authorities not to dish out any further punishment.

“I forgive Cristiano Ronaldo. I hold no grudge,” Edimar told AS . It was not an attempt at aggression. He hit my legs and my mouth, nothing more. What I mean is that those responsible understand that things happen on a football pitch.

He should receive a normal suspension, nothing more. I don’t want to
hurt him and I hope that he remains the best player in the world.
