Its dead and gone! The year 2014 ends and left with so much drama, actions, crackers and ofcourse reactions and beheld so much passion in the world of football. Let’s xray those moments, shall we?
It was a massive end in top flight football competitions ranging from the end of a terrific end of the 2013/14 season in Europe with a Uefa Champions League final clash sealing up the season and Real Madrid, UCL defending champions.
Those that starred (2013/14):
• Athletico Madrid: They were the stunning surprise of the season, the Spanish side led by former Argentina international Diego Simeone were La liga winners and Champions League runners-up a feat they have not achieved for seasons.
Star Player:
* Diego Costa: On 30 April 2014 Costa won and converted a penalty in the second leg of the Champions League semi- final against Chelsea, as Atlético won 3–1 at Stamford Bridge and advanced to the final of the competition for the first time since 1974.
He scored 64 goals in 135 appearances before joining Chelsea (£32 million buy-out clause; signed a five-year contract on a salary of £150,000 a week in Costa’s contract), now scored 13 goals in 20 appearances so far for The Blues.

of the Champions League semi-final, Ronaldo set a new record by becoming the first player to score 16 goals in a single Champions League/European Cup
season.
• Manchester City
The Citizens, they also attended the party and were very important guest as at 2014. They won the Premier League on the last day prior to Liverpool’s unending draw-backs and a Chelsea not precise on silver wear claims for last season.
Manuel Pellegrini showed character and possess the terrain with a strong and reliable squad that produce Africa’s best Yaya Toure, and the likes of Sergio Aguero who is red-hot this season, David Silva and more with a current ‘live-saver’ Frank Lampard on loan.

• Bayern Munich
The Alianz Arena is a place to be, and the occupants with their fierce supporters were the talk of German football in 2014.
Bayern had already won the Bundesliga before the last day and under the leadership of Pep Guardiola are the world class players such as Arjen Robben, a free scoring Mario Mandzukic, Frank Ribbery and a sweeper-keeper Manuel Neuer amongst others. They were sent out of the Champions League by defending champions Real Madrid but a good Super Cup title plus a Bundesliga plus a Football Association title just made their star to keep shining.

• Juventus
Winning last season’s league title—the club’s third successive Scudetto—with a record points tally of 102 was testament to the incredible desire now ingrained
in the squad. Yet just two months after lifting that honour, its architect Antonio Conte walked away from the club, quickly taking a role with the Italian national team.

2014/2015 Season
It began with Louis Van Gaal on all pages and broadcast of the sport media, and a very unconvincing start with thanks to MK Dons and more.
The Premier League battle, the Diego Costa prowess versus Sergio Aguero finesse and more.
The Spanish Laliga throwing columns on Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi that keep having hat-tricks and record making goals.
The Uefa Champions League round up to bigger ties and repeat clashes (Chelsea V PSG) (Barca v Man City).
All of these in one year 2014?
