” There should be another means of determining a team fate when they are tied in a group. The last time it happened was in 1988 when Algeria got through at the expense of Cote d’Ivoire. From then till now CAF should have device a means for this, because it seams unfair”.

” Am going to be indifferent about this, I think it is CAF rule from time, I see no reason why they should change the rule. I think the ram and the bull is just equal if you are lucky to get the mother choice on your side good, well, Traore said after that penalties could have being better but penalties goes with luck anyway”.

” To me its unfair, I will rather suggest a rematch of both teams, lots drawing should not decide the outcome of play. Let the legs do, let tactics tell the results”

Just to view the arguments over whether or not was it right. Both teams have actually struggled to get that point and crashing out of a prestigious tournament via lot is something as painful as not qualifying for the tournament.

Maybe this could be a letter to CAF to recheck this order and rule because what is popularly related to coin tossing is choosing of sides before a match starts and it is done by team captains.

Or a letter to CAF that rules can be changed towards decisions to make it a prestigious continental arm maybe statistics could help in terms of ball possessions or number of chances created, or cards received or saves between tied teams.
