Newcastle United showed master class against Swansea with a 2-2 score draw and Papiss Cisse needs some “muchas gracias” for a job well done as the pressure on Alan Pardew is not gone but ‘yet’ to see him out of the club.

Cisse seemed like the life-line where he cancelled Wayne Routledge and Wilfred Bony goals in both halves respectively which were cleanly assisted by Gylfi Sigurdsson each.

French international and former Newcastle midfielder Yohan Cabaye earlier on defended Pardew by pointing the blame to the team.

“I keep looking at the club and at the results, and I’m a bit sad about the situation because the people there deserve much better,” he said. “The manager is in trouble now but he
shouldn’t get all the complaints because it’s not only about him, so I am sad for him and want to wish him all the best.”

The match at Liberty Stadium was more of the decider for Alan Pardew but a draw still keeps the hope of the Premier League side boss alive.
