Spain international, Diego Costa scored a brace as Chelsea thump Samuel Eto’o’s debut that saw a total of nine goals at Goodison’s Park.

The Blues claim the victory with an impressive performance with Costa opening the goal fest and closing it as well by scoring in the opening minutes and in the 90th minute with a stylish assist from John Obi Mikel.

Positive Jose Mourinho said “At half time we were winning 2-1, I was telling them that against a team like Everton you cannot sit back and defend for 45 minutes. You have to try to hurt them, you have to try to score goals.”

Samuel Eto’o showed impressive start as he found the net in the 67th minute via Leighton Baines assist, also Kevin Mirallas and Stephen Naismith netted a goal each to closing the goal difference to three.

Ramirez and Nemanja Matic both assisted each other in getting a goal, and a Seamus Coleman own goal plus Branislav Ivanovic’s goal made the score 3-6 before the referee called it a day.

The Roberto Martinez led side last saw two draws with Leicester City and Arsenal, while the Londoner s have seen three wins in three games so far.
