Nigeria World Cup participant Michael Babatunde will stay with his current team Volyn Lutsk despite recieving several offers after the Mundial in Brazil from clubs such as Schlake 04 (German Bundesliga), Stoke and Sunderland from (English Premier League).

But the player’s agent Makanju Nureni stated that the player has two-year contract remaining with the Ukrainian side and he will fulfill it.
“We had several offers for him after the World Cup, but because he still has a two-year contract with FC Volyn, we have decided that he sees his contract
through expect if we could reach a mutual agreement with the club to sell him,” the agent disclosed.
“He will remain with Volyn but at the same time with God all things are possible, so a deal could push through before the end of the transfer window in Europe.”
The agent also said that Babatunde is fully fit and in training with his Ukrainian side.
“His plaster of paris has been removed and he officially resumed full training on Wednesday,” he told africanfootball.com
