Thee Chelsea midfielder could return back home to Egypt for between 12months to three years for military service.

The 22-year-old was allowed to travel abroad for educational purposes under the permission of the country’s ministry of education but his membership of that scheme has been rescinded by the Minister of Higher Education in Egypt
meaning he may have to return home.
If he is ordered back to Egypt he is obliged to complete a period of military service which can range anywwhere from 12 months to 3 years.

Egyptian National Team director Ahmed Hassan told kingfut.com “Salah has expressed his shock about the decision,”
“He told me that he is trying to represent Egypt in the best way possible. Is this the best response from
the country?”

As it stands there’s nothing much Chelsea can do about it, but to endure, or hope the call is waved.
