May we put our hands together for the Nigerian star who just got himself on an high ground that the world can see him shine
Though Brown Ideye’s move has caused a lot of talks, some say he has left European stages as he will not see UEFA Champions League or Europa League for a while at Westbromwich Albion, others say yes, this is the real deal, he has to taste physical football in the most watched league in the world and be on spot for vibrant English media to see and also strike against some of the world’s best defenders.
The 25-year-old signed a club record fee £10m and no doubt has to defend his worth as a striker and will put on the jersey number nine (9) and Nigerians can sit back and watch how the lad would do them proud.
Without much ado, the truth is, is either he performs or not, a little is just a much as nothing, so there fore let’s see both sides.
HE PERFORMS
Should he do well, score like 15 goals or more 10 assist or more for first season he gets a pass mark and probably win the heart of Nigerians (make the national team).
Note:
Ideye is not a centre forward, we all saw that in the Confederations Cup, where he spear headed the attack, he is more of a supporting striker or the likes, so, he must assist and also score goals for him to stand-out.
He has to be vibrant and precise, he also have a fellow Nigerian Victor Anichebe alongside which is also a welcoming plus.
DO NOT PERFORM
Oh! No! I don’t want to see that scenerio, but the thing is, should he not perform as expected by the Westbromwich Albion fans who are expecting some prowess show and the media who speculates and articulates and the national team shirt, well, let’s keep the momentum in good shape and believe his the next legend.
