Nigerian goalie Vincent Enyeama may bid the National team goodbye as he says the 2-0 loss to France may be his last game in national colours.
After an uninspiring 2-0 loss to the Les Bleus of France the Losc Lille custodian appreciates the position as captain of the team after Joseph Yobo who played his tenth World Cup game against France call it quits but made it clear that he may drop the barton.
“It is a big honour to wear the [captain’s] armband for the national team,” Enyeama told SuperSport.
“But at some point you need to say, ‘okay I take some years off, maybe I take some months off, maybe I call it
quits’. I will sit down with my wife and decide what to do next.
“Maybe it was my last game.”
Nigeria lost to France via Paul Pogba’s volleyed header and Yobo’s own goal on Monday.
