Transfer rumours
Chelsea have joined the move for Nigerian international Emmanuel Emenike for £20M.
According to reports, The Blues had been strongly linked with Emenike last summer and have been keeping tabs
on the Nigerian international this season.
“I have always dreamed of playing in the Premier League,” Emenike said.
“If I get the opportunity to play in England, I wouldn’t turn it down.”
Despite wanting a Premier League move, Emenike recently revealed that he is happy at Fenerbahce.
“When I joined Fenerbahçe my goal was to win the league and that became a reality,” Emenike said.
“I want to stay at the club and win more, lift more trophies and build upon our success.”
Tottenham, Arsenal and Zenit St. Petersburg have also been scouting Emenike.
Emenike has been in impressive form for Nigeria in the World Cup and has 10 goals in 21 internationals.
The 27-year-old rejoined Fenerbahce last summer from Spartak Moscow for €13 million and scored 12 goals in addition to 9 assists this season.
