Sport Cracker understands that, Mario Pasalic is to undergo a medical in May before signing a permanent deal after Chelsea agreed a £1.6million deal with Croatian club Hajduk Split.
Pasalic is a talented midfielder who has been capped by his country at U21 level and has netted an impressive 11 goals in 25 league appearances.
It has been his first year with the first team and his performances have attracted many admires, including the scouts at Chelsea.
The youngster’s agent, Ivica Loncar, says he will join Chelsea before spending the 2014/15 season out on a season-long loan to continue building his experience of first team football.
“Mario would like to stay at Hajduk as long as possible, but the contract is signed and we must respect the desire of the club,” he told Croatian newspaper 24sata xD.
