SC Heerenveen striker Uche Nwofor has scored
all three goals for reserve team in 3-1 victory
over Utrecht on Monday.
The twice-capped Nigeria international is still
struggling to break to the first squad, playing for only
49 minutes in the Dutch top division – Eredivisie this
season. Nwofor who has not played for the senior
team since November may soon return to the squad,
as he bagged a hat-trick against reserve team of
Utrecht on Monday.
Nwofor broke the deadlock on 39 minutes with 20-
yard strike. He scored the second goal in the 73rd
minute with a lob shot and six minutes later sealed
the victory with an individual effort from close range.
The 22-year-old striker is only on loan at Heerenveen
from other Dutch side VVV Venlo, who currently play
one division lower.
