The body responsible for organising the Nigeria Premier League, the League Management Company has confirmed the postponement of some fixtures in the three week old Nigeria Premier League.

In the new fixture Warri Wolves vs Enyimba will now hold on April 9, 2014, instead of the initial date of March 26, 2014.

Bayelsa Utd vs Nasarawa Utd game billed for March 26, 2014 will now hold on April 3, 2014 while the Kaduna Utd vs Bayelsa Utd match has been moved from April 2 to April 9, 2014 and Bayelsa Utd vs El-Kanemi Warriors is now to hold on April 6.

Also affected is the game between Kano Pillars against Warri Wolves match which will now hold on April 2, 2014.

The LMC explained that the reason for the rescheduling of the games is to allow the only two Nigerian teams left on the Africa continent, Warri Wolves and Bayelsa United to have enough time to prepare for their continental assignment.

Both teams had a sore outing last week with Bayelsa United losing 2-1 in Zimbabwe to How Mine FC while Warri Wolves drew 0-0 at home to CA Bizertin of Tunisia.
