The Nigerian duo are on top form as they both scored in the clash between their distinguished clubs in the Ukrainian Cup where Ideye got a brace while Ayila also scored against his parent club.
Ideye Brown bagged a brace for Dynamo Kiev as they
defeated Metalist Kharkiv 3-2 on Wednesday in quarter-
finals of Ukrainian Cup. Interestingly also Ayila Yussuf who
is loaned from Dynamo to Metalist was able to score against
his parent club.

Ideye didn’t need much time to add his name to the scoresheet
as he opened the result just 7 minutes into the game with a great
header. In 19th minute Blanco equalized, but before the break
Ideye received great pass, entered the penalty box and fired a
shot on the near post. Metalist’s keeper was just watching as the
ball went to the goal.
In second half Dynamo tried to control the game, but they didn’t
avoid the mistakes. Nevertheless in 73rd minute Yarmolenko
bagged another one for Dynamo. Yet favourites from Kiev
couldn’t be confident of their promotion to the last whistle,
because in 85th minute unwated in Dynamo Aliya Yussuf
scored a contact goal for Metalist. Result however did not
change and Dynamo will play in semi-finals.
