Arsenal team news :
Arsenal will have both defender Kieran Gibbs and
midfielder Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain available
against Swansea on Tuesday night following
successful disciplinary appeals to the Football
Association.
Defender Laurent Kosielny (calf) misses out, so 19-
year-old Spaniard Hector Bellerin, who was on loan at
Watford, has been drafted into the squad as cover.
Sweden midfielder Kim Kallstrom (back) could
feature for the first time since signing in January
having been on the bench at Chelsea.

German international Mesut Ozil (hamstring)
remains out, midfielder Aaron Ramsey (thigh) is still
a couple of weeks away from full fitness, while Jack
Wilshere (foot), Theo Walcott and Abou Diaby (both
knee) all continue their rehabilitation.
Provisional Squad: Szczesny, Sagna, Mertesacker,
Vermaelen, Gibbs, Arteta, Flamini, Podolski, Cazorla,
Oxlade-Chamberlain, Giroud, Fabianski, Monreal,
Bellerin, Gnabry, Sanogo, Jenkinson, Rosicky, Kallstrom.
Swansea team news:
Swansea head coach Garry Monk has reported no
fresh injury concerns following his side’s 3-2 defeat
at Everton for Tuesday night’s Barclays Premier
League clash against Arsenal.
Given the quick turnaround in fixtures, Monk might
opt to start fit-again Spanish striker Michu, who
scored twice when Swansea won 2-0 in north London
15 months ago.
Michu, who was sidelined for three months due to an
ankle injury, has featured as a substitute in
Swansea’s last two games against West Brom and
Everton.
Provisional squad: Vorm, Amat, Taylor, Flores,
Williams, Britton, Bony, Hernandez, Dyer, Shelvey,
Cornell, Lamah, Routledge, Tiendalli, De Guzman,
Canas, Rangel, Pozuelo, Tremmel, Vazquez, Richards,
Ngog, Emnes, Michu.
Come in No 9: Michu could start at the
Emirates after missing most of the season
through injury
Big match stats:
There have been eight goals scored in the last 10
minutes of the last five meetings in all competitions
between Arsenal and Swansea.
The away side has scored two goals in five of the last
six meetings between Arsenal and Swansea in all
competitions.
Arsenal have lost none of their last 13 Premier
League home games (W10 D3), conceding just four
goals in that run.
There has never been a league draw between Arsenal and Swansea with the Gunners winning five and the Swans four of the nine meetings.
The Gunners have not conceded a first half goal in
any of their last 11 Premier League matches at the
Emirates. The last opposition player to score in the
first half there was Stoke’s Geoff Cameron in
September.
Perfect remedy: Arsene Wenger will demand
three points after last weekend’s 6-0 drubbing
by Chelsea
Arsenal have won just three of their last eight
Premier League games (W3 D2 L3).
Only in 2011-12 (39) have Arsenal conceded more
goals after 30 games of a Premier League season
than they have this campaign (34)
50% of the goals Arsenal have conceded this season
though have come in three games away from home
against the top three and they have the best home
defensive record shipping just seven goals.
Arsenal have won only three of their last eight
Premier League games, just one more than Swansea
have in their last eight (2).
If the season had started on January 1st 2014,
Swansea would be in the relegation zone, two points
away from safety.
